Didn't see WC game but Stevo, Walker and Hensch kicked 8 between them - not a bad return.
Those 3 goalkickers with Gill up the ground could be the way to go??
Porps will add a touch of class and Tippett showed signs last year.
Not sold on Richie douglas as crumbing forward, didn't really look too dangerous last year?
Loved Stevo's game against Collingwood in the final last year - has strong hands, good skills could he play permanently forward??
So many questions...

We've got an eclectic mix of options but it is so hard to say for sure who makes up the best six. Tex and Trent have asterisks beside their names - Walker is just a kid and as excited as we all are it would be unfair to expect too much in his first season. Hentschel is on the way back from over two years out of the game so again, we can't pin our hopes on his output. Stevo will more than likely continue playing the Mr. Fix It role (defender first, forward second) and given how ordinary Griffin has looked we'll have Tippett rotating between ruck and forward once again. Gill is handy as a lead up option but I'm starting to wonder how safe his spot is in our 22 if everyone's fit, especially if Walker happens to develop ahead of schedule. Porps should spend more time in the midfield this year which perhaps opens the door for someone like Jacky (I wouldn't mind seeing Cook get the nod here either).

If the Crows go without a quick moving small forward IMO should be Petrenko in Round 1.. they are being very silly.....
The defensive minded small forward is becoming more and more important and explosive pace is something we lack.. Petrenko gives us something ....

Yes that is a good point, the forward line pressure that the small forward can put on is very much needed in todays game.

I reckon no matter who gets picked there will still be a double page spread flogging the same horse in the Sunday Mail about the subject:roll:

No doubt it will be the lead story on ch 7's news bulletin's Sports segment as well.

I actually think it will be an interesting year to see how the forward structure and delivery works out, not saying it will be a great outcome but it is the first time in years that Adelaide are putting together a real forward structure that could be of some note in years to come.
