well out of these people who are 'maligned' for their articles/comments who in your opinion is the worst
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

why ? they get criticised by all & sundry so why not find out who is the worse 'in our opinions' & that is all it is our opinions ffs

Ashley Porter lovely stuff yabman. Back in the day whenever I purchased my copy of Football Times it was straight to the previews section to see if ol Ash had tipped against the Redlegs. Normally he did, and normally we won. I reckon Ashley Porter deserves almost as much credit as Neil Balme for the 82 and 84 flags ha ha.

Prior to the 1982 Grand Final Porter selected the Tigers to defeat the Redlegs when we had just enjoyed a week off while the Magpies belted the bejesus out of the Tigers in the 'Grave Danger' prelim final. The yabs had done it the hard way and were softened up by the Maggies so naturally Ash decided Glenelg were due to salute.

Porter still writes a SANFL piece for Inside Football and yep he still tips against the Redlegs nearly every time, but unfortunately his strike rate has increased this decade!
