SuperCoach 2009 - A Hogg Shield event Seedings & EOI here

Greetings.

If you are anything like me and can't wait for the fantasy football season to kick off your prayers have been answered as SuperCoach 2009 was opened this morning.

This year I am hoping to fill three divisions of the Hogg Shield after last year's two divisional format. The following players have been issued invitations to join the Hogg Premier League in 2009 or have already joined up. Please note that these are the official AFL Hogg Shield seedings based on last year's efforts.

Hogg Premier (aka Hogg Shield)

3. Hammo: 2007 Premier (Ipswich)
4. Cub (REB Jnr)

6. Reignman (AFL Online) - WA
7. Woggy (Ipswich)
8. Gingernuts (Victor Harbour)

11. Darios (Ipswich) 2007 r/u
12. The Real Number 3

14. Carlos (Brisbane)

If any of these players don't accept the invitation to join the league the order of invitation is then based on the following seedings. At this point they are listed under the second division.

Hogg Division One

17. duncs: didn't accept the 2008 invite after finishing top 4 in 2007.

19. bloodstainedangel5 (AFL Online) NSW
20. Jared L (Ipswich)
21. Tommy Hafey
22. Hearts on Fire
23. The coach of 'Holland's Heros'
24. Ben McD (wherabouts unknown!)
25. Booney : relegated from the Hogg Premier
26. Mighty Eagles: relegated from the Hogg Premier

28. Mrs REB (not eligble for Hogg Premier as a rookie player)


That means there will be four spots up in the Hogg Div 1 and The full sixteen spots up available for the Hogg Divsion Two comp (aka the Piglet Shield). Last year in the second division myself, Cub, Carlos and Reignman had a side in both divvys but that won't be happening this year.

Six players have joined Hogg Premier already so an invitation to join the Division One comp has been sent to Carey. There still might be more second division spots up for grabs. Stay tuned Hoggers.

No worries mate. Your seeding is 33. You are first reserve for Division One at this stage. Invites to the third division won't be sent out just yet. Have to fill Premier and then Div One first.

We are just waiting for the Premier League players to accept their invites before we send out the invites for Divsion One. You never know Punky, you might be in Premier League yet.

Dutchy, Thiele, Bazza.

Just waiting on a few to sign up for the higher grades so I've got an idea for numbers. Dutchy and Thiele are going in somewhere and Bazza is next cab off the rank in case anyone doesn't respond which happened with duncs last year. I can't even send out the Division One invites until the Premier League coaches get off their ar5e and accept the invites so if you please Hogg Shielders!
