Crows star breaks both hands
January 19, 2009 11:30am
CROWS midfielder Brad Symes will be sidelined for eight weeks after having casts placed on both hands in the wake of a training mishap on Friday.
Symes hitched a ride back to the changerooms on the back of a small vehicle when he lost balance as it negotiated a speed hump.
The 23-year-old, entering his second season at West Lakes after being traded from Port Adelaide, finished up with a fractured left thumb and a broken right hand after attempting to cushion his fall.

Not the kind of thing you want to happen in January in a very important season for his career at the elite level.

Jeeze, quite an unusual mis-hap...........
He was injured for most of last year and could be injured for a while here, wonder if Crows could give up on him.
