Agreed, for his size Richo is probably the fittest guy in the comp. Franklin probably is the quickest of the big blokes, but Richo runs the lines all day.

You can throw in Adam Goodes with these two as well. He is extremely athletic and agile for his size.

Brent Harvey has to be extremely quick and fit to compensate for his lack of size.

Also Dean Cox is a superb athlete to go with his fantastic footy skills. Agreed on Goodes he also is one who stands out.

matt pavlich is not out his league in these names, plays often in the midfield

Cousins back in the day was unreal. Hazbeen or more to come?

If we are talking about pure athletes then i would have Lance Franklin, Matthew Pavlich and Adam Goodes right up there.

engine wise you would have to put Nathan Van Berlo in the mix. does not find the consistency as the other premier midfielders (judd, harvey etc) but has it there to be a good player.

van berlo is not in the same leauge as them

i was not saying that he was in the same leauge as them IMO I think he is a hard worker on the track but cant find consistency week in week out.

if we are talking purely athletic gifts - speed, jump, reach, endurance - than Jared brennan is right up there. However, he's not in the league of best footballers because he has no consistency, but his gifts mean his highlight reel is unbelievable.
