The M Pike is a French rugby union player. Sydney has pulled him in to train, just as they pulled in a Canadian basketballer last year. Clubs can take guys from non-AFL backgrounds as extra selections, so a couple of clubs have actually gone out and trialled different blokes. Most though have focussed on Ireland.
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.

The guy is in fact a former fullback for the Canadian Rugby Union side. Michael (Mike) Pyke. 23 or 24 years old i think and a big lad as well. 200cm and 100kg's. Could be a very interesting experiment. Don't think it will turn out to be a very successful one but time will tell.

Here he is scoring a try against New Zealand.

Saw him on fox sports news about a month or so ago. Pretty quick for a big bloke, if he has the stamina Sydney could train him into a decent ruckman.

Good to see Tom Holmes get a go - very skilled but, unfortunately, small - 5'10
