All Crows fans have right to be disappointed, its pretty normal actually. Collingwood were certainly better today bar the second quarter. Considering we were at strong odds to be in the bottom four this year, i reckon they did ok. They were always suspect playing top eight sides this year though. Hopefully they have a bit of luck recruiting this year.

The Crows did about as well as the present manpower allows, and better than anybody expected at the beginning of the year.
They didn't choke or under-achieve, unlike another team, that early in the year everyone expected to be in this year's finals because they finished second last year - or was the gap so wide it would have to be called third...

Did you guys choke?, no you didnt. As you said. You basically got beaten by a better team that at this point is only in front of due to the fact that a number of years ago they had some serious pain. Thats about it.

Also you can bag Port as much as you like but in the end they had some pain and now will see the benifits of that in years to come.

No choke. The Crows just aren't good enough. You'd think a Port supporter of all people would be able to tell the difference LOL.

You're right REB we aren't good enough.

7th for the year is not a bad a result given no real forwards and aging stars.

I would have taken 7th at the start of tehy I had us finishing anywhere between 10 and 7th.

We are currently a real middle of the road team.

As teh regular season proved, Geelong, Hawthorn, Collingwood and Saint Kilda are all better than us and we can match the likes of North Melb and Footscray

Not a choke at all (as much as I hate using that word),just a realistic assesment that Adelaide's current group of players and coaches are not good enough to win a flag.

Why is it a team can't lose these days without being labelled chokers? What happened to the notion of being beaten by a better team on the day?

You can say that about the majority of the teams for the majority of the time. Every now and then you get a year when there are six or seven genuine chances but in recent seasons its probably down to maybe four teams tops as legitmate premiership chances.

Geez some modern day footy fans are idiots.

Every single loss now is classified as a 'choke'.

There was no choking, Collingwood were just far too good. Adelaide played one good quarter and that was it, clearly no choke you idiot.

Should of played Reilly IMO
Knights and Thompson burned the ball way too much
Tippett and Moran clearly aren't ready for finals footy and they have friends

I think you Crows supporters who hated Essendon and St.Kilda last week, for knocking you out of 4th, should be thanking them, this way you only lost one final didn't bow out in straight sets, AGAIN!

I am a Port supporter, we over achieved last year, unluckily for us, but I'd rather be a better team in 3-4 years, when Geelong's weakened, so we're at least a chance to win the flag.

Oh and in case you forgot, you've still got the almighty Neil Craig for another 3 years. Suckers hehehe

straight sets is usually said when you lose 2 finals game in one year. eg out in straight sets (likened to the tennis term)
