Comment from that pip squeak Anthony Hudson at the end of the Crows game talking about Nathan Bassett .... "A career that began in reserves at Melbourne".

No it didn't you insignificant midget, it began at Norwood in a team much better than the Melbourne reserves.

Just want to add my congratulations to Nathan Bassett on a great career with the Crows and Norwood. He gave it everything he had.

I wouldn't expect better from "Head on a stick" Hudson.
Congrats to the hound. A good honest performer.

AGREED, this guy everytime he walked out gave 110 percent, remember him at the start for tghe Crows trying so hard but looked so un-coordinated but then alas it all came together and he has been one of the best to play for the Crows, well done to Nathan on his career and wish him well in his future

One thing to remember Hawk is "head" is member of the media that continually refers to the fact that Neil Craig never played a senior game and that Graham Moss retired in 1976.

Mods should merge this with the other Bass thread...

I liked Bass, as he was a tough bastard who did the best and more to what his potential was....

Good career, well done !!

Yes, it annoys me every bit as it should any football supporter. One quality that annoys me in people is ignorance, which is probably why I dislike the media so much.

Just quickly LL, Craig now has a finals record of 2-8, do you have any thoughts?

Yeah. Sabotage his car on game day in the finals so he can't get to the game and let Jonas do the match day coaching.

Or that Craig Bradley is not the senior games record holder.

Well done to Nathan Bassett anyway on a very solid career

I think he's timed his retirement perfectly. He has played some good footy of late and he was one of the Crows best yesterday. Good to see him go out on a personal high, even if the team did lose.

A great player and seems like a great bloke, the Crows will miss him, Dennis Commetti will miss him more though!
