Finals tips?

Hawks V Dogs - Hawthorn forwards too tall and too damaging for the Bulldogs to match, although I expect a high scoring game here.Winning form into finals is good form andf the Bullies dont have any,the Hawks do.Hawks by 24 in a good one.

Crows V Pies - As bad as Collingwood are travelling I cant see Adelaide scoring enough to win, although most people have said that about them most weeks this year.Porplyzia is a loss and Cloke V Bock may determine the outcome of the match.Cloke very important and 3 or more goals and 10 marks from him might see Collingwood get over the line at a ground they usually play well at.Collingwood in a low scoring game by 13 points.

Swans V Roos - Neither side travelling well and the Roos playing on the slippery and unfamiliar ANZ.I think the Roos have more scoring options, the Swans are a tough side to score against though.I wonder if the Roos are going to 'tunnel' their way onto the ground?
Swans by 20.

Cats V Saints - Cats are just building nicely for the last 3 games of the year and the Saints will still be flying from last weeks big win and the stealing of 4th spot. This one will be a cracker and I think 20+ from both teams is a possibility, but,I cant see anyone beating the Cats in the next month and although the Saints will battle hard I think the Cats by 45.

Hawks & Dogs - this game could go anyway, I'll cheer for the Dogs but expect the Hawks to get up by about 4 goals.
Adelaide & Collingwood - picking Adelaide narrowly but wouldn't surprise me if the Pies got up as they have a pretty good interstate finals record and the Crows record is only beaten by Port when it comes to choking in finals this century.
Roos & Sydney - Sydney by 5 or 6 goals
Cat & Saints - Cats by 78 points

Hawks by plenty. Will be a fiery game early. Aka to do or say something stupid.
Crows just in a low scoring game
Kangas. going for an upset. Barry Hall to get life for a roundhouse to Brent Harvey's head.
Cats all the way. Expect a big blowout in this game.

Ive just got a feeling that the Saints could catch the cats napping this week. We dont have a thing to lose as nobody expects to even get close. The Cats have every man and his dog's money on their backs. If we get a few in front, the Cats could start to lose it

Go you Sainters!

Yeah but it won't be anytime this month. Geelong are cherry ripe and have been planning for this all year. We might have played West Coast last week but at least they come out and had a red hot crack at least early. St Kilda have a lot of key players like Montanga, Gram, Goddard and Milne to name a few who are going to face a lot more heat this week and be a lot less effective as a result. Geelong know what is required and the only thing that Essendon were good for from a St Kilda point of view was getting the double chance. In their current state Essendon are the worst team in the competition to play in order to prepare for a match against the Cats.

I've got no idea who will win the Swans v Roos match but I don't know how comfortable it will be for either side. Surely the Roos aren't going in with Edwards, Hale AND Thompson? That is exactly what Roos will be hoping North do against a side that is lacking legspeed on a large ground. I don't think you can play those three in the front half and get up at a ground you've never played at before.

Swans by eight points.

Geelong - no doubt.
Hawthorn - almost certainly.
Adelaide [I hope] - narrow margin either way.
Sydney - not sure why - either a close win to Sydney, or a blow out in favour of the Roos, depending on how well Sydney tie it down.

Geelong easily
Hawks easily
Crows in a tight one
Swans in a tight one

I'd be very surprised and disappointed if we can't beat an undermanned Collingwood at our home ground in a final. But who knows?

The one I'd be least surprised about getting wrong is the Swans. I agree with Dutchy their form this year against the best sides has been ordinary. But they seem to be getting back on track the last few weeks and have the home ground and a couple of key players back.
