with reports of a player having a blue and one cross dressing and waving a sex toy around there has been calls to ban mad monday! i think there is nothing wrong with the boys getting together to have a few drinks after a long season and letting off a little steam. if these boys were at a office party nothing would be made of it!!

Honestly they train hard, play hard and they get one day to relax drink make and ass out of themselves as a group. Its harmless when people dress up i mean it would be funny as hell to see a grown man walk into a pub as the Fev Dog did..... As for the fight he was helping out a mate so good on Ben. Isnt that an unwirtten law in Australia you stand up for your mates. What was he expected to do stand there and get belted just because he is an AFL footballer.... hell no give the bloke a clip and nothing more should be done of it. If it was un provoked and the AFL player was in the wrong then its a matter of the Law not the AFL/Asutalian community to worry about. These AFL players are just Aussie bloke doing a job. How often to construction workers wolf wistle or office workers be fools in public..... happens every day but you never hear about it

I reckon they should be allowed to let their hair down for sure, but in doing so they should be subjected to the same rules or laws as anyone partying ... If they don't break them then there's nothing in it, but if they do they should be treated/punished the same as Joe Average.

I sense your sarcasm LL, and agree wholeheartedly. I cannot recall a footballer over the years who has annoyed me anywhere near as much as Fevola. Sometimes I wonder just what he is thinking, but then I realise the answer is ... nothing.

as someone else had stated Fev's actions were no worse than what is common behaviour at most bucks and hens nights. If he breaks the law give him what he deserves but otherwise stop your whining and if you don't like what he does then don't watch it . Good on ya Fev i say it is characters like you that keep this great game of ours interesting .

Did you read the article about it ?

Clearly the photographers are sent out by ambulance chasing editors to get a shocker Mad Monday pic and Fevola is the only one dumb enough to oblige. You can get up to no end of let-your-hair-down-hi-jinks without brandishing a dildo across the road from Flinders Street Station.

It is one thing to behave like a tasteless cretin at a private party, and another if you do it in a public place.
I'm not sure here which the Fev did...
