Jeff Farmer has announced his retirement, probably no real surprise.

Crikey, how many players will Freo have going through the revolving door this off season?

Should be a few one would think ... Bell to quit, Carr to move on, others like Johnson, Soloman, Bradley, Headland could be gone, Melbourne apparently chasing Warnock hard, yep could be a different looking outfit next year.

Johnson - Retired.
Bell - Quit
Soloman - Sacked.
Farmer - Retired.
Warnock - Might be gone.
Carr - Wants to be gone.
McManus - Retired.
Black - Retired.
Headland - Probably will be there.
Bradley - Will be on the end of some good luck with so many players leaving.

more of the postscript on ninemsn

"Farmer, the first indigenous player to kick 400 goals, joins Peter Bell, Shaun McManus, Heath Black, Matthew Carr, Luke Webster and Mark Johnson as other Dockers to have retired this season, while Josh Carr is seeking a trade back to Port Adelaide."

Yes - a thorough culture clean out was needed. They wouldn't be the only AFL team that needs that though.

I don't think he has been and I don't think he will either. I'd suggest that Harvey will let him go around for a 'redemption' year next season. You can't throw the baby out with the bathwater. Got to have at least a few experienced heads about the place, even if there's nothing in them ha ha.

REB

One of the most overrated players ever. Had one good season at Melbourne but aside from that he hasn't done much. Should have got the arse from Freo 2 or 3 seasons ago.

I think if you've played nearly 250 AFL matches and kicked over 400 goals you've got claims to being a very good footballer!
