Two sides without a bevvy of superstars, but a lot of good AFL players and A LOT of depth.
With the exception of the WB debutant, the interchange players are good enough to be in the starting 18 at most clubs.
Should be a ripper. I'll say it's down to who plays better; Porps or Aker...

Weird one that.
I thought he'd be in until the year's end, but no.
Didn't do a lot last week (why wasn't he put up forward?), but had plenty of mates.
Tippett kicked a couple for Westies last week, but jeez, he was struggling in his previous AFL appearances.

How has the Doom system held up this year? I have read that Collins has used this fertilizer company that has juiced up the surface and made it a little softer underfoot and that injuries have decreased from sides that play there often. Is that all, erm, fertilizer or is there some truth in it? Is your Doom system.....DOOMed?

Still churned out a nice profit this year, esp win 5 wins in a row in July/August, 9-4 is the record for the year, unfortuantely the 2 mid season breaks meant their were less plays this year
Looked back at the records last week and the system has won 16 of 17 games when implemented in the months of June/July and August over the past 2 season.....not bad for a coin flip....shows there is substance to it...

Turned out be a good choice to play Tippett, I thought his game was pretty good.
Doughty had a shocker in the first half, but redeemed himself to some extent with better touches in the second.
Gill's mark was sensational, given the conditions.
It has to rank in the year's top 10.

Yeah spot on. I thought he was the Crows' best player in the first half of the season, but obviously things have gone off the rails somewhat.
Goodwin is struggling as well.
Don't know if it's his back still giving him grief, but it'd be great if he can regain some touch next week!

Someone rang up 5AA and suggested that Hudson wasn't dropped because of a hammy but because of discliplinary issues that go back a few weeks, he suggested that he was dropped for 2 games because of it (not sure if he has missed 2 games) and at the Crows v Bullies game a Bulldogs official said that they can now understand the issues that Adelaide had with Hudson.
