If it was targeting Aboriginal footballers, the blokes at Carlton are Betts, Walker, Anderson, and Benjamin.

Doubt there's any real threat in it, usually threats are all piss and wind.

I can't imagine what kind of imbecile you have to be to resort to this kind of activity.

It's something I've been warning people about for years, especially some of those psychos who post on BigFooty. People are so angry and aggressive over there that you find yourself being dragged into it because you are tired of people slagging your club or players.

The game of footy has changed with society. Sure we had problems with supporters 30 years ago, but it was usually a punch up in the crowd between two people who had too much to drink.

However, society has become less tolerant and far more aggressive, and football supporters have changed with it. You are hesitant to barrack in the crowd these days for fear of some nut case lashing out at you.

Football supporters need to relax, and get more enjoyment out of the game. The way I enjoyed it as a young man was to take an interest in the other teams, their players, etc. That way they didn't become "the enemy", they were part of my entertainment value.

As someone said, if it was a shot at aboriginals it is even more pathetic. What harm have they ever done to the game? You can just imagine who the target would have been at my club!!!

It's easy to say it's just some gutless wonder and we shouldn't worry about it too much, but imagine if you were the player and received something like that. I got a phone call one night by someone saying they were "coming to get me". I was pretty sure it was just some idiot dialling a random number, but it still put the wind up my sails a little bit.

You never know, we just may be unlucky enough to be dealing with one very sick person.

the person or persons who are involved in these threats, are dogs maybe even rats. if they are found put them in a room with barry hall for a while to see who is threatning and intimidated then.
