If what reports from the SANFL have suggested about the senior burger, this is a bad move. Far better to perservere with Bentley surely?

Got an epiphany today that the Blues would be handed a thrashing after what happened at AAMI in R11 ... here's a slight comparison between the sides which will play on Saturday and those which played back then:

R11 Carlton 1.4 2.9 3.12 10.15 (75)
2 Jordan Russell
3 Marc Murphy 33pos, 0g1
4 Bryce Gibbs 1g0
5 Chris Judd 32pos
6 Kade Simpson 20pos 1g1
7 Adam Bentick 25pos 0g2
8 Matthew Kreuzer 3HO, 2g0
14 Brad Fisher
15 Steven Browne
16 Shaun Grigg
17 Setanta Ó hAilpín
19 Eddie Betts 1g1
22 Shaun Hampson 10HO
24 Nick Stevens 0g2
25 Brendan Fevola 2g1
27 Dennis Armfield 1g1
28 Cameron Cloke 8HO, 0g1
29 Heath Scotland 24pos
30 Jarrad Waite 1g2
32 Bret Thornton
34 Simon Wiggins
44 Andrew Carrazzo 23pos
Rushed 4
372 possessions, 21 hit outs
In: Michael Jamison, Andrew Walker, Jason Saddington
Out from R11 line-up: Adam Bentick, Setanta Ó hAilpín, Shaun Hampson

R11 Port 3.5 6.8 8.12 8.15 (63)
10 Travis Boak 1g0
20 Dean Brogan 21HO
7 Peter Burgoyne
27 Alipate Carlile 0g1
25 Domenic Cassisi
30 Troy Chaplin
35 Chad Cornes
18 Kane Cornes 0g1
17 Robert Gray 1g1
29 Nathan Krakouer
5 Brendon Lade 38HO
44 Tom Logan
4 Daniel Motlop 1g0
16 Danyle Pearce 0g1
36 Michael Pettigrew
15 David Rodan 2g0
3 Steven Salopek 1g0
14 Paul Stewart
28 Toby Thurstans 0g1
1 Warren Tredrea 1g4
39 Justin Westhoff 1g0
21 Michael Wilson
Rushed 6
316 pos, 65 HO
In: Nick Lower, Jacob Surjan, Damon White, Brett Ebert, Shaun Burgoyne, Fabian Deluca, Mitch Farmer, Nick Salter
Out from R11 line-up: Chad Cornes, Robert Gray, Nathan Krakouer, Brendon Lade, Steven Salopek, Toby Thurstans, Warren Tredrea, Michael Wilson

These wholesale changes in the double-Teal will prove the difference
But yes, it was a pretty pointless comment wasn't it?!

Ryan Williams will apparently be making his debut, in place of Boak who has an injury that will keep him out.

Like you I can only go by reports, but that attitude of P Burgoyne sounds shocking when he has dropped back to the SANFL, completely different to that of Johncock's.

Not sure about Bentley either, he would be delisted if I was in charge.
