Toyota

yesterday (1/8/2008) announced a three-year extension of its major sponsorship of the Crows.

A backer since the club started in 1991,

the deal takes the partnership between Toyota's Camry badge and the Crows to 21 years.

* Copied from Michelangelo Rucci Saturday Adelaide Advertiser colomn. Page 108.*

1. What an important sponsorship.

2. How important it is to have a Loyal Sponsor for 21 years.

Yeah, I think 75 years slightly exceeds 21 years when it comes to importance.

Good to see that with all the sides available in Melbourne the Vic car maker Toyota choose to continue to sponsor the Crows!

Although I do have to wonder what would have happened if Mitsubishi had of sponsored the Crows when they started, if all the Camrys heading home from Crows matches had of been Magnas it probably could have been a lot different story for Mitsubishi - the reason I suspect why Toyota sponsored the Crows in the first place! :?
