Easy North Melbourne Vs. Melbourne enough said. Melbourne have not alot of members and North have members but bad weather and one team that is struggling.

Big difference is that North Melbourne aren't the team for all Victorians.

Rooster, it is an attendance of two clubs that in all liklehood won't even exist in ten years.

Sorry SJBAC I should have said some Victorian AFL fans
It's particulary relevant when the fans of these two clubs are seemingly the loudest to scream down any idea of relocation but then won't turn up to watch their own team. The MCG on a Sunday Afternoon . What more do they want???

Thanks LL :D

Yep the Roos crowds are the smallest averaged in Vic. Surely this is still a worrying sign.

Melbourne must be haemorrhaging from having such poor crowds at the G also....

rogernumber10...If you read this what is the BREAK EVEN point for clubs in terms of attendances required
for the MCG, Dome & AAMI ?

lets answer this question -

4 games between 8 Victorian clubs this weekend and an average of 52,000 attended the 4 games....Simple answer for anyone with the IQ over 20

A resounding No....

You stole my thunder Dutchy.
86,000 Friday night and 64,000 Satdee Arvo offsets any 'so-called' low crowds.

When I read it (same time as Adelaide AFL soft thread) the Roos were at the bottom. At the end of this round the Dees have taken over the
mantle probably as a result of the past few games.

Here's the table & link ATTENDENCES

Team............Average
Collingwood...60,734
Carlton.........51,369
Essendon......49,794
Richmond......44,042
Hawthorn......41,283
Geelong........39,396
Adelaide........36,541
West Coast....35,518
St Kilda.........35,460
Sydney..........32,520
Wstn Bulldogs..32,368
Nth Melbourne..32,250
Fremantle.......31,945
Melbourne.......29,958
Brisbane..........29,914
Port Adelaide...25,838

you need to break down the figures also, 15k attended the 2 Roos games at Carrara, so take those games out and we are above a couple more teams...

I'd also like to know Collingwood's average attendance when playing a non victorian team in Melb.

I was at the G this afternoon (because I'm not soft  ) and was very surprised when I learned the crowd figure was 21,000. There must have been a couple of thousand in the Long Room.

By the way - that Matt Campbell. If I was a North Melbourne supporter, I would re-arrange my weekend to get along and see him play.

Two games I've attended this year against West Coast and Adelaide have drawn 45 and 52 respectively.
