Adelaide (to play Collingwood ) Backs: Johncock Rutten Bassett
Half-backs: Van Berlo, McGregor Reilly
Centres: Burton Ricciuto Goodwin
Half-forwards: Knights Hentschel Bode
Forwards: Edwards Perrie Biglands
Followers: Clarke Thompson Rover: McLeod
I nterchange: From: Massie Doughty Shirley Maric Vince Hart Mattner

My tip, Maric, Massie, Doughty to drop out of the 25, also noticed no Jericho

I'm a port supporter, but i will still make comment about this crows team. I'd have Perrie and Hentschel playing in opposite positions. I'd have Mattner on the half back line instead of Van Berlo (i'm not convinced hes ready for AFL footy yet). Goodwin would look to be wasted on a wing, i'd have him in the centre square.

GWW

I think you will find that Mattner will start at HB and Van Berlo on the bench, for me at this stage jury is still out on Van Berlo, he will be a good player in the future, but Im not quite sure where he is at with his development at this point in time, saying that I am looking forward to seeing bit more of the kid.....

With Goody, he will spend his time in the square, but with others such as Edwards, Thompson, Roo, Shirly, Mcleod and som of the young boys, I think you will find that Goody will also spend some time on the wing, especially if Mattner moves to HB and Burton to HF

For me, no real suprises in players named, but will be interesting to see what they do with McGregor with Bock out

Will it matter really? A pretty damn good side that can be swung around to suit the occaision. Coming off a very good pre-season, against who?

My tip for a fair bit of time on the interchange, Roo. Unless needed (which I doubt)

I will be at the game.

Coorong, I have luckily organised a work meeting in Melb on Monday (funny that) and will be at the game, can't wait

Im confident, but it's definitely a danger game......

My opinion is we should smash them at the stoppages, the Pies seem to lack leg speed which you need at this venue, this should restrict the amount of clean supply to their forwards....

I reckon Collingwood will take the points in this one, they will be hungry and their rabid fans will be at full voice ... Must be question marks over the match fitness of both Ricciutio and Bassett who are surely underdone?

May well turnout to be, but I also think he might not .. Still deserves more perserverance for mine .. Agreed with a lot of what Weed said about him after the NAB Cup loss ...

He needs to work on the small things. Plenty of ability. Just not quite ready at this stage.

I am willing to give Jericho a bit more to. Also congrats to Bernie Vince. Country footy to AFL in 12 months is a fantastic effort. =D>

LMAO .. I was watching the game last night thinking I shouldn't have put my thoughts to print ... although there were a few times this looked a possibility ... Crows of recent times would have been completely overrun in Melbourne in the face of an onslaught, showed some good maturity last night!

Yes yes I know lol ... I seriously thought it would be a legitimate issue, but I guess as they say, there is no substitute for class ... The game itself cost me a Redback and a bottle of Makers Mark!!
