Some massive consequences hang on the results of some games

-Saints cannot loose otherwise season is basically over
-Port and Richmond playing to have some point for the rest of the season
-North Melbourne could slip further behind the 8 (pretty much expected to happen)
-Must win for Adelaide they have been questioned about quality of team v's draw and need to get over the line after a gutsy display against the hawks
- Carlton must win to stay in 8
-Collingwood not as good as people think so big test for them to prove there worth in the 8

I think this weeks "game of the round" would have to be Brisbane vs Adelaide.

Both in a similar position on the ladder and this game could make or break their season.

I can't go past Brisbane at The Gabba though, if it was anywhere else i would pick Adelaide.

The Pies v Dogs game is huge. Collingwood drop that and they are a huge chance of missing the 8. Dogs by 23

I'd take Adelaide over Brisbane, as they match up well, and would have a sting in the tail after coughing it up last week, Adelaide by 18

It's now or never. The Saints lose to Freo and they are gawn!! Time for them to stand up..Saints by 11

Hawthorn to good for the Roos, who lose McIntosh a massive out. Hawthorn by 45

Port should/could be Richmond...Richmond season over if they lose. Port by 32

West Coast better start playing Saturday to beat Geelong...no chance...Geelong by 69

Melbourne shouldn't even bother taking off the tracksuit...Sydney by 49

Essendon had a win at last, Carlton travelling OK. Blues need to win to stay in touch, and redeem from the last meeting Carlton by 28

It'll be interesting to see how Mick structures the Pies' forward line with no Cloke or Rocca. Their small forwards were barely seen against Carlton and they would all have to make decent contributions for them to be any chance of winning. Rocket will be a tough one to outsmart. Good to see Presti will be having a run in the VFL, hope it goes well for the lanky fella.

Chance of showers around the MCG on Friday night, might bring the Hawks v Kangas game a bit closer. Might.

Adelaide big chance of knocking off the Lions. Burton and Reilly will probably come back in. Any word on Bradshaw?

St Kilda started at about $1.70, now out to $2.35 in light of their ins/outs.

Not that he's had a good year, but there are 8-10 guys who should be dropped before Dal Santo

Jeeze, I didn't think Dal Santo would get omitted from St.Kilda.

I agree saintal, many more should be dropped before him!

Yep, as discussed at length in the other thread, completely agree.

Pity Lenny Hayes went off when he did. One of the few saints who still plays footy as it should be played :prayer:
