(whispering) Hey Bluey, I don't think they know who Adam Thomson is, Choco doesn't. You've got them stumped. So if we're quiet about it then maybe he can play for a real team for the rest of the season, SSHHHHH!!
Be very, very quiet...we're hunting rabbits.

Thomson should be in the team. Hes a hard ball winner. And if port dont have many in there midfield at the moment.

Apparently he has been told he won't get a game with Port this year unless they suffer a stack of injuries, Chocko has told a few guys this. Great way to build morale.

No doubt the Crows will look them over and consider any who would like to join Symes.

He will be at the Crows next year, it will be exactly like the Symes scenario.
They only pick flashy players and allow their tough lads to run around in the SANFL, what is going on at Alberton???

It's called the "star" mentality. It happens with the Crows supporters too over players like Shirley and Doughty, but the coach doesn't buy it as much and still keeps them for their defensive skills.

He could be a hard ball winning asset but, would you want to be associated with such a bunch of soft co**s

Haven't seen enough of the lad to make any direct comment myself, but I'd always thought there were question marks over his disposal?
From the little I've seen of him the lad looks like he's a goer so surely he's not far from a call up.
To the Sturt fans in here, how do you think he would be faring in club B&F and Magarey voting thus far?

Thomo would be in the top 3 in B&F could be leading it by a bit just dont know...... Sheedy, chambo, crane would have taken votes of him. He has been most consistant with sheeds though.
Magarey similar to B&F situation but you never know what goes through an umpires head

. But when we dont have him in the team you can certainly tell. He has improved in leaps and bounds this year. I have seen Lower a few times and he has a crack like the way he plays and has developed but thomo for me over Lower!

His disposal has been spot on and he is much better with his foot skills than Bentley who is on the same list !!!
His handball skills are excellent especially in close and are the best in our side !!!
Has scored goals this year which he also seems to added to his game !!!
As far as the magarey I have him down for 2 best on grounds and one in the top 3 - but who knows what the umpires think sometimes !!!
If he played every game for us I rekon he would win the B&F this year !!!

Mark Williams you are a joke..... Sturt representative on the SANFL footy show on 1395 said that he has no idea what Mark is talking about OP being related to Thomo. He has showed no effects and i feel it is simply thomo isnt a fav of Williams. I have also been told by an employee of the Power and former player that Mark told thomo that he will only get a game if there are lots of injuries!!!!

Again not picked up after playing another good game for Sturt, I've picked Port this week but I hope they lose.

Well now, with respect to Thommo, I don't want him to get another game with the Power this year or ever again, leave this rabble and start anew somewhere else. Also with respect to Chocko, If he can't see what this kid has to offer then the club wants to have a look at why he doesn't and why are there lies or half truths about his injuries??? What an absolute disgrace. At least he's getting a game with a club that's honest with him, respects him and he loves playing for us. GO YOU DOUBLE BLUES..GO THOMMO.

Have any of you so called experts listened to what Mark Williams has said about Adam Thompson in recent weeks? He is suffering from early stages of osteitus pubis. It is slowly getting worse, but can be managed in the slower paced SANFL, but if he were to play in the AFL any time soon, the increased pace would cause the end of his season. Williams has said he has plans for Thompson to play a very significant role in Ports 2009 season.

Thats crap, he needs to be rested with that injury for pretty much the rest of the year. OP is something that you cant be runnig on. Even at SANFL speed as Docter Choc tells us.

PAFC I'm gathering from your quote being "My lifestyle determines my deathstyle" you're no health or fitness guru, let-a-lone expert, so as I aren't either, I'll just go on each Sturt game I've seen that Thommo has played in, and that would be almost everyone of them, and he's killed it, got in the best players numerous times and kicked numerous goals..probably about 13 in 4 games since he returned from the Power, (haven't researched that mind you). So this doesn't seem like a bloke with groin probs to me.
