I just read yesterday the oldies at the Kangas were gathering together for some function and hoping Mick could be there.
That's very sad indeed.

Nolan once had two pies for his 3/4 time snack instead of the ususal
oranges. Barassi just shook his head.
Good enough to be North's first ruckman late in their run to the 1975 VFL Flag.
Sam Newman said he was the best tap ruckman he had played against.
A TRUE character sorely missed by football, not just by North and their fans.
