Other than publishing my tips, I thought I'd offer some insight into Carlton v Freo.

Freo - very competitive with the top ranked sides. Combined losing margin (without looking it up) is 29 points (happy to be corrected).

Good'ish record at Telstra Dome.

Hayden out will hurt them but Grover in will assist greatly.

Grover has a good record v Carlton

Fev has an ordinary record v Grover

Carlton, although improved have won 2 of 19 at Telstra Dome since moving there (thankyou AFL teams)

Personally, I'm not happy Grover is in. If Grover wasn't in, I'd be more inclined to pick the Blues. As it is, I'll be picking Freo.

Shocking one to tip. Do you pick Carlton who have a shocking record fullstop, or Freo who do everything they can to lose games but have played well in patches. I'll be steering clear of this one on sportsbet.com.au

Fremantle: Carlton have trouble playing the Dome, and playing the Dockers. WIsh we played our home games at the G, as it is the same dims as Princes Park, and we go OK there...
Port Adelaide: The Chadster & Wilson, big in's. At home. Sydney will push them but...
Richmond: Essendon are shite, and if the Tigers drop this one, season gawn...
Adelaide: WCE are shite..

Melbourne gave plenty, but lack the polish at the moment. Davey has to use his head better. That free kick late in the 3rd quater was not good. Really cost them, and then hes angry and lost the plot.

Congrats to the little big man Boomer Harvey, what a way to celebrate....to beat a previously unbeaten team who without doubt have more skill than us, yet to persist all day and scratch out a win in a game we had no right to get the 4 points..

So happy we played well after last weeks debacle, but maybe after WCE result we didnt play too bad at all
