Sean Burgoyne Suspended

Have heard on the radio that Burgoyne has been given 4 weeks. If this is the case it proves how bad this tribunal system really is. That is over half of what Hall got. Compare the incidents and they dont even come close. Another nail in the coffin for AFL footy.

As a Hawthorn supporter I was disappointed that there was not a free kick given to Sam Mitchell, but as a FOOTBALL supporter I am even more disappointed that Burgoyne has been cited for what clearly was nothing but accidental contact.

Other than the shoulder to the head and the stretcher that was required.

pfffft, the contact was very minimal and was not worthy of a three match suspension. A free kick yes but a suspension NO!

A man is knocked out cold and you believe it is "very minimal " and he was "hardly touched"...strange very strange. It had to be looked at surely as he actually had not yet taken the ball and was hit high.....I assume you think the Ben McGlynn incident with Cornes was laughable and should be thrown out too(personally I don't), has he actually had the ball and then got straight up without being knocked out

It does not have to be deliberate to at least face the tribunal .Ask Peter Everitt and Stephen Powell or according to Dogs fans Chris grant

IMO Mitchell deserved a free kick and that's all.

Contact was very minimal but the big problem Burgoyne has is that he ran past the ball in the contest and the AFL doesn't like that. BUT there is no way know this is worth the same as the McGlynn incident which was far worse!!
