After all the history of the last 18 months to point the finger solely at Woosher is unfair and too simplistic IMO - in organisations with lots of peope involved there's always a range of failure points, a series of little things that add up to something big at the end. Woosher would have his share of things he would do differently, and he would have some mates! If the Board is going to ask questions of him, well I'd be asking plenty of questions straight back.
eg, Woosher has already admitted that he did not act quickly or strongly enough when the off-field issues first came to light.

IMO it still does not make him safe though. If you were head of a board of an extremely succesful organisation and you did not manage your issues as they come to hand appropriatly and then the business went down you would surely be held accountable. Football is now big business whether people like to admit it or not and a club with such backing as WCE should not be in the condition they are currently in no matter the circumstances............

You are being too harsh. Injuires and the loss of key personel of the years are taking there toll. The young kids are now being played and look good. Rebuilding. Ever club has to go through it.

Reading on the net, you hear that that is because of less time to recover from operations before the next season starts. Teams taper off to different levels, but WCE have the added problem of losing Judd and Cousins.
So I think Worsfold should be given some lee-way.

the result, Woosha has a Premiership in his kit bag, however at what cost, no Judd, no Cousins, Poor Culture and NO RESPECT
this club will take another 5-6 yrs to rebuild, and all this happened under Woosha's watch

I think Woosher went for the short-term gain and turned a blind eye to the wider issues involving his "star" players for that one premiership, probably hoping for two, to make his reputation.
That sort of thinking comes back and bites you, as he is now learning.

Don't agree with that after reading an article in the Weekend Australian magazine. He was helping Cousins greatly in his health issues. So to say he turned a blind eye I just don't agree with at all.
