How good is this kid?
23 disposals, 5 marks, simply oozes class. My word he will be a terrific player.

This is strange. I agree with NFC. Mackay will become an outstanding footballer.

He's got great composure that's a good sign of class & confidence at that level.
In fact he could slip some composure pills to Jacky
Mackay's a very promising player!

I think those games he played were last year, i think NFC is saying that SA has missed out on getting some decent amount of games from this draftee (from a couple of years ago) because most newly drafted players play 10 or so games for their SANFL club.

David Mackay is now an Adelaide Football Club record holder, by equalling the feat of a retired Crow?
What record does he now share and with who???

From a selfish point of view it would have been good to see him have half a season in the SANFL but good luck to the lad. He played a game up at Elizabeth early last year and then missed the rest of the year. We got some great service out of van Berlo and Carlile in recent times.
Looks like we might not have Otten around much either

I have heard that Mackay doesnt want to play at Adelaide next year and so will not negotiate his contract with the club.... if this is the case should the crows play him or not! if he doesnt want to commit to a club who supported him through and injury riddled year why should we continue his development if he will end up playing against us

Close enough.
With 7 games and 0 goals Mackay is now joint record holder for the Crows for most games played without a career goal..BUT
Who does he hold the record with ?CLUE - Played 7 games in 1999...

I can't comment on where Mackay wants to play his footy as I honestly wouldn't know ... But IF the case were as you say, then yes I'd still play him ... Pick your team on it's merit and the boy certainly deserves to be there.
Should what you say be true, then a successful year might change his mind and if not it should escalate his worth.

Jokey, IT ISNT, they have now scored career goals havent they, so they can not hold a record for most games played without a career goal!!!!

yeah but they played games without goals. so there should be 2 records current players who havent scored a goal. and most games without a goal
