SWANS forward Nick Davis is likely to be spending the next month playing with the reserves in the AFL Canberra competition following his unsuccessful two-week return to senior football.
Davis had little impact in Sydney's forward line against North Melbourne and uncharacteristically missed two early shots at goal which normally would have been automatic six-pointers for him. But coach Paul Roos conceded yesterday the experiment of bringing Davis back following the suspension of Barry Hall two weeks ago had not worked.
Davis played in round one against St Kilda but was dropped to the seconds for three matches because Roos was not impressed with his tackling and pressure skills. He was recalled to the senior team for the clash with Geelong following Hall's suspension
Is it all over for Davis???

As someone who works in information management I must say I hate these threads. It's like having a bulging fat file called 'miscellaneous' and scrolling through post after post of score updates that from the game you watched yesterday to find discussion about the mighty Cats, er, I mean your team. It might work with the Pura Cup when there's only three games but when there are up to six matches to consider I don't think this concept is a winner.
Now that all the Port and Crow wusses who can't bear to be sledged (Newsflash - yer both crap) by the ever vigilant oppo fans rapier like wit (see above ha ha) and have pissed off to their own forum, why can't we have a thread per match?
REB's tips
Carlton
Geelong
Hawthorn
Richmond
Adelaide
Sydney
Fremantle
Port

REB

i wouldnt think so. if you remember he got dropped mid 05 and came back to play a very important part in that season and especially a final qtr vs geelong very late in september.
And more to the point he is contracted to the end of 2011
