This could go on the Crows board couldn't it..

I do agree though that he has a very promising future, will be interesting to see when he's given his chance at the next level.

Looks the good alright! Great pair of hands, beautiful kick and has an "X-factor" about him. The crowd at the Parade already love him. :D

He is a natural forward alright, his leading is what sets him apart from many other forwards. Knows when and where to lead.

needs to work on his kicking for goal. apart from that things seem to be pointing in the right direction for the lad

Also needs a bit of work on his defensive side, but I can see that being addressed fairly quickly and easily ... Agree with the other comments about him, he's a beauty for sure.

This lad will be an absolute star in a few years but this year I hope Neil Craig leaves him to develop at Norwood......he was 17 until last friday !
Hate to see him badly hurt or confidence sapped before he is ready.

Crows fans be excited...be very excited !!!!

Texas Ranger is a gun
AFL commentators have big wraps on Tippet. Wait til they get a load of this guy.

ATM, he needs to improve his general intensity and defensive pressure. He has the hands and the skills. Fitness is an issue at this stage but the jump form country footy to SANFL is bog enough in that respect, let alone AFL

Let's hope he doesn't do his knee after a few matches.

Awsome game for the legs today by this lad. Get him in the Crows Forward line NOW

had to laugh when Taylor took a grab on the scroeboard side of Woodville and line up for a shot and an eagles fan walks down the slope abusing him. slots the goal and gives it back to the bloke just as good

Well I dont think hell be playing for the tri colours anytime soon. Mainly as they have burton coming back in another week and well Jericho should probably hold on to his spot. But definitly for the future.

Surely has to be given the chance this week given that Burton/Porplycia are out of the side. The kid is a gun. He is a genuine match winner.
Stop beating around the bush Craigy and give the lad the game which he deserves. Please don't bring in McGregor/Hentschel.

I haven't seen Tex play in the flesh. How is his positioning and defensive pressure?

From all accounts, he sounds like a "Natural Forward" but there is a bit more required by blokes of his size, nowadays.

Is he really a 'key forward' build required for modern day AFL footy?

I would have thought the way footy's played today, that yes, he is key forward build ... Would imagine he's no shorter than Burton or Modra etc, and similarly to those two, he's just as capable when the balls on the deck as he is on a lead.

No doubting he's not the height of Riewoldt or Buddy etc, but today's play generally tries to avoid kicking to a contest so he shouldn't be required to take too many big pack marks.
