No King is a huge loss for them. Brogan is in dominant form.

I think this will be a fairly even match, but i think Port will do enough to get over the line.

Although I am primarily a Crows man, I'll be supporting Port in this one.
As a somewhat removed observer I would like to see Port developing a younger ruckman by giving one some AFL game time and preparing for Lade's eventual move to a more or less permanent forward position.

My sentiments exactly Psyber.DeLuca looks to show something and I would like to see Lade up forward to give the marking contest near the square instead of Motlop or Ebert and allow them to crumb more.Brogan is in good nick as mentioned above and Deluca could come in.
At the expense of who? Not sure.

This would be the time, up against Michael Rix. What odds that Kossie will end up in the ruck or even give Matt Maguire a go, hed do just as well if not better than Rix, especially around the ground

With the likelihood of rain though i'm not sure Port could afford to go with 3 ruckmen, i think the club would also be mindful of the fact that 3 ruckmen hasn't worked in the past. There certainly is a need to develop Deluca though given the ages of Lade and Brogan, so hopefully Fabian will be given some opportunities soon (more than likely if/when a position in the final 8 becomes mathematically impossible, which as a Port supporter i hope doesn't happen, but given current inconsistent form is a concrete possibility obviously).

Went along for my once a year trip to footy park.
Pretty average game. Watching an AFL game live you realise just how different it can be to the sanfl. Give me the sanfl any week
Both teams didnt show much. I was a little bemused to hear how 'impressed' the boys on 5aa were with the power. Solid win undoubtably, but St Kilda were pitiful once again. How the media can rate us as a 'great' team is bewildering
K. Cornes, Cassisi, Salopek, Treadrea and Carlile good for port. I thought that Gram was our best.
Havent seen St Kilda beat Port at footy park since 1997

Exactly. Imagine how much worse the game would have been if two SANFL teams were out there.

For the most part it was an ordinary standard game, just that the Power made better use of their opportunities up forward than the Saints.
Umps were Crap esp. in the 3rd term where they almost got the saints back into the game.
The Power NEED to go more direct to goal in future as they often go out wide to the flanks and pockets which play right into their opponents hands.
Chad Cornes is officially the WORST kick of a Football in the Comp, Just undoes too much of his good work with poor kicking week in week out.
