Crows into final, it's just the matter of who and where it's played. Should the Geelong v Freo match is a low scoring match eg under 10 goals (10 for freo, 18 for Geelong) then the final will be played here.

Myself and U LEGS, in the event of a home Grand Final, are going to try and get as many people as possible to join us in chanting our arses off by arranging a time to go to an city BASS outlet and buying a group of seats behind the Crows cheer squad.

If you are interested, post here and stay tuned! :D

Basically come down to who wins tonight barring something out of the ordinary.
Freo win and its in Perth.
Cats win and its in Adelaide.

Even if its Cats v Crows here I don't know if I'll be bothered as I hate Footy Pk and hate Crows supporters there too.
If they have a super dooper family ticket deal I might, could be interesting with myself and my son in Geelong gear with Mrs Wedgie and daughter in Crows gear.

Could be a long trip Wedge as Freo will defeat the Cats tonight. The Cats have been scratchy (ha ha) so far and the Docks are hell bent on playing in their first final.

REB

I disagree REB ;) although I think the Cats will get flogged next week, very encouraging performance with no forward line.

Damn AFL umpires are AWFUL, missed 5 blatant push in backs and paid a heap of imaginery frees where there was no contact. The SANFL umpiring at Norwood Oval for a trial game last night was 1000% better.
For some reason AFL umpires think the crowd pays their money to watch them and not football.

AFL umpires are a complete disgrace. With the effects microphones as good as they are now you can hear a lot of what is said between umpire and player after a free kick. Some of the s'#* that comes out of their mouth when they try and justify a poor decision is laughable. You even hear them getting stuck in to players on a personal level sometimes (i.e. calling them morons and idiots) How on earth do they expect to get respect from players when they wont give it themselves. Your spot on Wedgie about AFL umpires thinking the game is as much about them as it is the players. Some of them could definatly benifit from watching the SANFL umpires go about their buisness. They might not be right all the time but SANFL umpires understand the games is about the players NOT THEM.

I dont know why everyone thinks the SANFL umpires are so much better than the AFL umps. They're just as bad.

I disagree Wedge  . I think there is no way that the Cats will get flogged by the Cows. For a start, I am going to come on here before the game and talk them up and then tip them! How much pressure has Adelaide faced in the NAB so far? Zero. They will get some next week, we aren't Melbourne mate.

REB

I don't think they're better or more skilled as such but some SANFL umpires do realise that people aren't there to watch them and also I think they're given better directions. Don't get me wrong I'll be saying the opposite when we encounter Peter Williams or the dwarf again.
