You can see that type of footy each week in the SANFL. Just one of the reasons why I much prefer the SANFL these days to the AFL.

The only pre-game AFL GF entertainment I can remember.

Up there with the Billy Idol fiasco at the NRL GF a few years back...

I always regarded pre-game and half-time "entertainment" as sickening rubbish inflicted on those of us who were there for the football by the sadists running the commercial wing of the operation because they enjoyed seeing us suffer.

I assume they are the same people responsible for the MUZAK on phone systems and in superemarkets, and for the skinny seats in theatres and on planes.

Nothing can be as bad as "Doin the CAZAAAAAAAALY". That was shocking. "Do the dipper" and putting a f*****g $2 scarf they gave you at the gate over you're mouth like dippers mo. I remember before that GF they were saying they were going to do that every year, thank god they didnt. The superbowl had U2 and million dollar commercials and we had Richard Champion (Or what ever his name is) making a stupid song using shit scarfes from best and less.

Greg Champion I think you mean, although Richard does fancy himself as a vocalist.
