What an absolute f*cking disgrace those umpires were in that last quarter. As much as I hate anything black and white, that was not even close to an even contest. The best job of shepherding anything over the line since the pied piper!

and the didak, burns and o'bree missed throws? the missed high tackles? both sides had chances and both had frees not paid - the umpires were mediocore but to blame them is incorrect.

The umpires were worse than mediocre.

Collingwood had their chances, If they wanted to win they could have, missed shots from Medhurst and Thomas in the last 4 minutes.

Regardless of the umpires i really enjoyed the game tonight. Travis Johnstone was very impressive as was Black and Power again. Nathan Brown did a very very good job on the best key forward in the game.

The O'Bree one I'll concede but the others were legitimate "crow throws".That free kick Brown received to put Brissie back in front, jeez I see worse than that let go in my daughter under9's netball every week!If thats going to be the standard of Afl umpiring this year then thank christ the sanfl has started.

Your not wrong there RW&BB, collingwood had a couple go their way but Brisbane had the free's on a stick in the last quarter. 11-5
Nathan Brown, great job all night on the best CHF in the comp Jonathon Brown yet was let down by those maggots, giving J Brown the softest free that resulted in a soft goal & Bris gaining the momentum.
These maggots are ruining our great game, we have specialised umpire coaches & observers ( Geischam ?? )being payed big money to do their job, the inconcistency is greater & getting worse, make these blokes accountable for their blatant errors for f#*k sake.

Agree there. I thought collingwood for once were hard done by. Couldnt believe it in the end. Collingwood would definitly not be used geting the raw end of the stick.

It was a good game to watch.

I thought the umpiring was fairly even but Collingwood were hard done by a bit in the last quarter.

Collingwood had their chances but they didn't take them and this costed them the game.

Collingwood was on the receiving end of a lot of free kicks early in the game.
Probably worked out even in the end with the shockers they gave Brisbane in the last quarter.
Either way, Brisbane was pretty impressive to back up after a trip to Perth.
Matthews would have been pleased with Johnstone and Bradshaw...Black was pretty quiet though on his standards.

Bulltish. All three were dead set throws and should have been pinged accordingly. The last quarter just evened up all the crap the Pies got earlier.
