Idea for an exhibition match to celebrate 150 years of footy

I honestly think having Victoria v The Allstars is a complete insult to each state bar Victoria. Any ideas on any other comprimise??
I have 1. What if the AFL went to a list of footballs biggest living legends and put a shortlist of 10 and put a poll on by sms.The two biggest legends would pick a current coach each and work with them and have a "Draft" where they would pick squads with the first pick being chosen by coin toss (1 side picks, the other picks, then the 1st side picks ect. BUT each squad must have at least 2 players from each state and territory (Maybe exempt ACT as there is not many). Play it at the MCG on Queens Birthday Monday as a twi-light game. Now I beleive there then could be no whingers as everything was done fairly at the start and it would create an amazing spectacle..........

If it was my choice I would have VIC v SA. I just watched the 1993 State of Origin where SA beat VIC at the MCG on video and it sent chills down my spine. What a side we had that year........
Can you bring a man to his feet when defeat is on repeat?

Full marks for the effort and thought process but I consider your idea an insult to every state

The only way to not insult any given state, is to hold hold SoO at all.

LK, I think your idea has merit.

I dont agree with the concept being Vic vs the Allies. Strongly so to the point where I will treat it with the contempt that it deserves and will stick with the NRL the night that it is on! 8)

state of origin needs to come back imo there is nothing better then representing your state even more so that int. rules is on hiatus for the moment needs w.a. s.a. vic and then an allies combining nsw,nt,tas, qld and act
