Ben Cousins

Just reported on Ten news, that his car was found 50m from a RBT after he was leaving a wedding reception. He has since been questioned about it and may lose his captiancy of the Weagles. Bloody hell with his money why not taxi it home?

and a picture of Ben holding a six-pack, running from a booze-bus in the back ground.

I think you can rule out Sampi from the captaincy.....

from The Age, late news desk......

West Coast Eagles forward Ashley Sampi is wanted for questioning over allegedly threatening his girlfriend with a knife.

Two women told West Australian detectives on Tuesday Sampi had threatened one of them with a knife on Monday night, the Seven Network reported.

The West Australian AFL club confirmed it was aware police wished to interview Sampi regarding a domestic incident with his girlfriend.

But the West Coast Eagles would not give further details of the incident.

"It is a sensitive personal indigenous situation which the club has been assisting, and will continue to assist, through counselling," the club said in a statement.

"The club will make no further statement regarding the matter."

The statement comes just a day after the club's former skipper and Brownlow medallist Ben Cousins was charged over allegedly leaving his car on a Perth highway to avoid being breath-tested.

The champion rover was forced to resign from his club's captaincy over the incident.

He is due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on March 21.

Rumour has it that West Coast have a rookie listed player, & he's the only one not up on any Police charges... West Coast have asked permission from the AFL, to promote him to the senior list, so as they can have a captain....

And WTF is going on with Gardiner? I know he has been 'banished' to the WAFL and is apparently not allowed to train with the Eagles. Mate, aren't these blokes a class act? NOT

It is obvious that Sampi has been to the Jeff Farmer school of relationship development...

Makes me glad that Cousins choose the eagles over Geelong all those years ago. New sponser of West Coast next year will be Swan Lager. I suppose he could use the excuse that we lost the Grand Final last year and was drinking to escape the nightmares.

In relation to the Ashley Sampi incident, the news over here is they will not give out too much detail because its a sensitive indigenes issue, what poking a knife at some one is sensitive, christ I would have said it was a bloody dangerous issue.

Cheers
