Darren Glass

Has just been announced the new captain of the West Coast Eagles. A good decision by the club, would have been a tough choice to pick from him and Dean Cox. Is the right man to lead the club forward.

Interesting stat about Glass. He was actually born in SA but his father relocated to Perth for work when Glass was 2. My father used to work with Glass' old man.

I would assume that Glass is not among the well publised "party group" at the Eagles and will set a strong example to the young blokes away from Cuzzy & co.

I'd be shattered if Glass doesn't turn out to be a good captain

Glass is an excellent choice for the captaincy as he will provide transparency in the leadership role!

Apparently the eagles are very interested in moulding Glass into a permanent club figure.

Let's hope Glass doesn't end up on the same wagon as Cousins - the club will straight away be able to see right through his lies...

Now that the Eagles are under Glass the club has changed it's name to the West Coaster Eagles.

I think WCE will be happy as long as their Glass doesn't get smashed, ala Cousins.
