If White goes, Willits stays.

Willits won't make it. White is better than Willits.

This sounds like the Mattner situation

Supporters making excuses for a player who isn't making the grade by blaming where the coach plays him

It's simple - take whatever opportunity is presented and make it impossible for the coach to ignore you.

If Willits gets de listed would love to see him back at the Bay. Jeff Smith will be a big loss and Willo would slot straight back in at CHB.
Can pinch hit up forward too...

If Thurstan was given 4 years to develop then Willits should get another year

Yeah I know ...... Mattner is different to Willits

It was the "coach is playing him out of position otherwise he'd be great" vibe that ringed a bell with Mattner. I remember Roo starting out on the HBF, Edwards in a back pocket, Bickley in a back pocket ...... turned into great midfielders because they grabbed their opportunities

I'm probably in the wrong thread now :) Plus I am starting to sound like I'm on a soap-box about Marty so I'll quit it there .....
