sad really because the only bloke or girl that doesn't know he is a defender is chocko :shock: :shock:
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

This sounds like the Mattner situation

Supporters making excuses for a player who isn't making the grade by blaming where the coach plays him :roll:

It's simple - take whatever opportunity is presented and make it impossible for the coach to ignore you.

If Willits gets de listed would love to see him back at the Bay. Jeff Smith will be a big loss and Willo would slot straight back in at CHB.
Can pinch hit up forward too...

Yeah I know ...... Mattner is different to Willits

It was the "coach is playing him out of position otherwise he'd be great" vibe that ringed a bell with Mattner. I remember Roo starting out on the HBF, Edwards in a back pocket, Bickley in a back pocket ...... turned into great midfielders because they grabbed their opportunities

I'm probably in the wrong thread now :) Plus I am starting to sound like I'm on a soap-box about Marty so I'll quit it there ..... :wink:
