Where do you think Roo's will play Marty, I'll tell you right now, HB my friend, like I said previously, AFL footballers should have more than one string to his bow.... As a quality AFL footballer, Marty should have the capability to play HB or Wing, that simple
I read with interest, Roos made special comments regarding Marty's good skills, Memo to Roos "Marty had a very poor year with skills and decision making"

Agree with you mate, on one hand, if we don';t trade, we are not aggressive enough, if we do trade, people's expectations are we should be able to trade our potential de-listings for cream.... to get something you need to give something, get realistic people
Marty appeals to Roos, so all the best to Marty, so if Adelaide can negotiate a win - win for all, then I am happy
On Doyle - Crows should only accept Doyle in a package deal, I would be surprisedif Sydney offered Doyle, as they only have two other establish ruckmen at the club, Jolly and Spida
Draft pick 28 - if this is the case, we need to wait and see who Adelaide pick up with #28 before making a judgement
Personally, I would like to see the Crows obtain pick #28, packaged with a player, my choice would be Schmidt or Grundy, two young SA boys, who will get better with opportunity

sydney-dog wrote:people need to ask themselves... how many clubs have built a strong list through the trade period, answer........... NONE
Lets look at the Hawks and the Cats, both clubs have build their list through first and second round draft picks
Adelaide has requested second round picks for Mattner, Meesen and Hudson, potentially the club could end up with picks, 10, 21, 22, 27 and 28... this would be our strongest position in the draft ever, what it would also do, is enable us to trade a second round pick or two for players at other clubs, maybe Cameron Wood from the lions
people need to see how the week unfolds prior to making knee jerk reactions
