Awesome dude, nice work, I was thinking about getting something like the WEG poster done.
Will probably only get it done if I have reason to get 2, fingers crossed! :D

How much does it hurt? :?

Call me weird but I dont feel the pain and find it mildly relaxing! As I said on the Norwood Forum I'll get a tattoo for every Norwood and Geelong Premiership (NAB Cup excluded) I get to share with my daughter so I only have one of each! :(

Wedgie, I have a couple. One on my chest. Three on my forearm.
They hurt, but in a enjoyable sort of way. During the outline you feel it, but you get used to it, and no worries.
If you have a poor pain threshold 8-[ , get them to do a 'dry" run, where they use the needle but just put water in.
Same effect as a tatt but gives you a indication on whether you'd be able to handle it... :supz:

Wedgie

I agree with SJABC

I too have an arm band that goes around both biceps, one on my chest and one on my back, their is a bit of discomfort, but if you are getting a tattoo that means something to you, then that discomfort becomes an enjoyment

location is very important, the pain can be extreme, anywhere near bone, or where the nerves and sensors are heighten

WOW!!!
That WEG tattoo is awesome! I wonder if you know the price Wedgie, Mine is on my left shoulder just below my NFC symbol. My other NFC Premiership one is on my right shoulder. The Geelong one is 95mm long by 70 mm wide, only in Blue and cost me $250.

I've got the Norwood motto on the inside of my bicep (if you could call it that  ), didn't hurt at all Wedgie (admittedly I was well and truly lubricated* when getting most of mine done) ... I believe there are some spots that hurt more than others but SJABC explained it well, if there's any pain it's only mild and almost welcomed to enhance the meaning of whatever symbol you're having done.

Nice job Fester, looks good ... Where did you get it done?

I got one done on my left shoulder blade on my back done after winning our first A grade cricket premiership.
Wasn't hammered, and yeah, it's a lie if i said it didnt hurt, but its a bearable pain.
Bit like a non stop pinch.
Or someone pricking you with a needle really fast
Aparently the sensitive areas tend to be where the skin is softer, such as the inside of the arm, pectoral muscle etc.
But the one on my back was bearable, and the wierdest thing is you leave wanting another one.
Dont know why.

Pain is addictive? It does stimulate the release of endorphins.

I gotta agree with that...but if you want to support your team with a tattoo, don't wait for a premiership, do it anyway
