Can you give me a copy of this week's Messenger where the front page proclaimed that it was the death of the Port Adelaide Football Club.
I'm serious, it would be greatly appreciated as I plan to frame it.
I saw it on the news on C10 or C9 and it looks fabulous, gutsy move by the Messenger considering they're based in the Port.

It'll go nicely with this:

Image

PS Geelong have won 5 out of the last 6 games against Port and the only win to Port was by 5pts when there was no Ling, Selwood or Bartel!

2007 GF: Geelong win by 119pts
Rd 21 2007: Port win by 5pts
Rd 9 2007: Geelong win by 56 pts
Rd 15 2006: Geelong win by 10 pts
Rd 16 2005: Geelong win by 79pts
Rd 5 2005: Geelong win by 4pts

Add that up and Geelong are a 263 pt better side!

Ha Ha, bitches!

PPS Im serious about the Messenger, would love a copy, please someone!

PPPS Look on the bright side Port fans, you enjoyed giving me shit for 17 years about the 89 GF despite North keeping Port to a lower score in 1905. I won't let you suffer that long as I'm a good bloke, I'll just make it an even 16 years, you'll be over it in 2023.

PPPPS Deadly serious about that Messenger, really want a copy!

PPPPPS Rumour has it the first round 2008 Friday night match will be Geelong v Port at Aami Stadium. Can't wait for that one. :D

I just want to say I don't hold a grudge, a grudge is nothing more than a place to "pork your core"

I don't know if anyone has posted this, but the 119 point loss is the biggest that Port have had in the AFL from 1997.

If you put it that way, the 119 points is the biggest loss the PAFC has had - the previous record was 117 points in Round 10 2005 against West Coast - 27.17 to 9.8. The 114 point margin at Unley is the biggest margin the PAFC lost in the SANFL up until 1996.

122 points in 1997. The biggest attendance for a match since 1991 - 18,961 - saw Norwood win 21.23 to 4.3. Norwood also beat Port by 117 points in 2002 at Norwood.

I was at that game with Booney! Fantastic day. You know things are going well when the Norwood fans cheer a Scott Hodges goal.
