Mathematical reason NOT to follow my ex-AFL team.

Its a pretty simple formula:
Melbourne Storm 10 seasons = 2 Premierships.
St.Kilda 135 seasons = 1 fluke premiership.
And now they can't find a major sponsor.
Who'd want to associate their product with this garbage.

Imagine how stupid those that stopped following the Cats feel today.

Don't fret REB, I don't follow any AFL team anymore.
I been going to Storm and South Dragons game for the last year or so.
My football fix has come from watching the five VAFA teams that have
their grounds at Albert Park.
A lot less stressful!

Im sure they dont feel stupid today, they would be very happy as they are now Geelong supporters again, and always have been. Just ask them!

At least the 50000 extra memberships for Geelong next year would help... i mean all the crows supporters are on board the Gee-train now aren't they? They sure seem to be.

Thats an interesting comment. I must admitt before the prelim final, I really only knew a few Geelong supporters. Wedgie and REB from here to start with then only really a couple more. But heck at work you cant walk 5 m without bumping into one. And theres nothing wrong with that, I just feel blokes like REB will apprieciate this win a heck of a lot more seeing as they have had a bit of pain over the last few years.

It's always good when S-H-1-T Kilda loses supporters.
They have been bagging us for the last 10 years about being bad but at least we don't have only one flag and a swag load of wooden spoons. We haven't had decades of mediocrity just a small patch in the most recent times of a 139 year history.
We may have had some stupid draft selections in recent years - Craig Devonport, Sean Charles and Mick Martyn for starters - but Michael "The Roundabout Bandit" Gardiner beats them hands down.
We can only go up the ladder and the 'Aints and their constantly ricketty board have gone as far as they can at the moment and will start the slide soon ... Harvey cannot go for ever.
We'll wave as we pass them on the ladder ... with only the middle finger because revenge is sweet!
Rant over ... Carn' the Blues!

NOPE! I respect them as a skilful team, not as dirty as some. They appear to have gotten rid of or made grow up some of those players who were a few years ago.
I'll support the Crows in 2008, even though I don't expect a good year, and even though I wouldn't be surprised if Geelong pull off the back to back.

The fans who think they'll be successful should be tested as well.

I don't mind either way what you do, but it was a purely personal opinion based on my own observations, not based on any source of alleged information or claimed in any way to be a "fact". The Melbourne team whose information was leaked to Channel 7 was a different one entirely and finished Higher up the table. This has nothing to do with that matter.
