Being a Port supporter... I'll might as well be the first to say it.

Well done Geelong, way too good! Congratulations.

Yep, well done Geelong. Far better side on the day, and all year.
Full respect to the Cats.

Enjoy the night Wedgie, REB and Strawb. Lap it up lads, no doubt you blokes are loving life!

I'm off to drown my sorrows.

That would have to be one of the most awesome performances of a side in a Grand Final ever. Hells bells, they were so dominant even when the game was all over. And did you see the players after the game, no real big celebrations, spoke cool and calmly to the media, it is like they have bigger and better things to do. And they aint losing too many if any players for next year. Just a tad upset they didn't kick the highest grand final score ever :D

Big Premiership wins to both their VFL (74 points) and AFL sides, the new Brownlow Medallist among their ranks.

A hearty congratulations to the Geelong Football Club. Truly a time for you to savour.

I can only start to imagine what it must feel like for you Westsider. Bad luck mate. You know that every crow supporter with access to t net will probably get on here and bag you. Chin up, the boys must learn from this, and probably spend this summer in the Gym.

At least the best team in 2007 were able to lay claim to the title and sweep away the Kittyjitters from the Preliminary Finals of 1980 and 1981, as well as the Grand Finals of 1967, 1989, 1992, 1994 and 1995.

Well done Catters!

I think most other clubs (certainly those in the eight) would have got closer (10 goal loss) and to be honest if they replayed the final Port wouldn't lose by 20 goals again (today was jsut one of those shockers every club puts in every now aand again))

BUT no other team would have beaten Geelong today, they were monties hence why I picked them to win by 10 goals plus (should have shown some balls and put a pineapple on it)

As I said after the 1st week of the finals no other team was going to win this flag only Geelong could lose it. Today they turned up highly motivated and duly saluted the judge (and saved psych services a lot of work in Geelong this week)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
