Was just surfing AFL GF Tickets on Ebay and came across this....

Ebay has a bid of $1,000,100 registered for a child to run out with Port Power on Grand Final Day at the MCG. Previous bid was an even million.

Maybe the SANFL clubs will get a dividend from the Power this year?

the highest 3 bids previously IIRC were $3,000, $1,000,000 and then $1,000,100. I suspect the seven figure bid tripped a light in Ebay monitoring land and quick investigations were undertaken. Interesting though that the highest bid is below the $3k bid that was there before?

It was a fluke but I found I still had the ebay window open at this page - here is the version of events I spoke of..

With no tickets? A little harsh, they should have a ticket for at least 1 parent attached, IMO. Start the bidding a little higher to compensate if they wish, but no ticket is a bit smelly.

This seems to be a reverse auction! The price has gone down again to $1725! Weird!

By the close of auction it will be $100 at this rate!

Just found out that there are no tickets for the mascot because the AFL shuts down all auctions on ebay which have GF Tickets on them.... thus the PAFC can only offer the mascot only with no tickets.

This means if you win the auction, u actually have to have a ticket to get into the ground to be the mascot.
