Anyone have major issues getting through on the phone line today? I still cant get through.

My mate just sms'd me and said there are no more tickets available at this time, however more might be released at a later stage.

I'm guessing these will be corporate tickets which are unsold.

I got through an was informed that it was sold out. I couldnt get through all morning, I pushed hard though but got nothing.

If you go to the MCG on gameday, & stand near a certain part of the ground (don't know where), the Salvation Army (?) sell tickets that couldn't be used- basiaclly, the AFL donates them to the Salvos, they sell them.
Risky, but worth a shot.

In 2004 the AFL released another small allocation of tickets (around 1000 i think) on the Friday morning before the GF. Not sure if this will happen again due to a Vic team being in there, but worth keeping an eye out for anyway.

Got my tickets booked today

Will keep an ear out for any others available and post back here if anything turns up.

It is now a Sellout no tickets left. So much for the People's game

apparently there were two different ticketmaster numbers you could call, and the one Port Power had was slower then the other one.....
