Port: How far?

Listening to the SANFL finals yesterday on RPH and the Commentators were unanimous in their love of Port Power. 'No side can be that lucky and not win the flag', 'Certainties to knock off the Cats' were the comments offered.

Now that has been settled. By how many points will Port defeat Geelong by to claim this lucky flag of theirs?

regards,

REB

According to the Victorian media, its HOW FAR: GEELONG.

Its just a case of state bias.

None so more evident than in Robert Walls commentary of the Power Roos Prelim on the weekend. His biased views on Port Adelaide was a disgrace. I always thought that being a national coverage commentators should stay neutral but the way he was talking that Port cannot beat Geelong not once but numerous times bought the telecast which was terrible to begin with to a all time low. I hope the power win even its just to stick it up walls backside.

He's paid to offer his opinions, not to be boring and sit on the fence.
In his opinion Port are inferior to Geelong. Get over it.

Port should be happy if Walls is tipping Geelong by plenty.

It is very rare that Walls gets anything right.

Doesn't Walls (literally) have his arse on the line with this game? I'm sure I heard somewhere that he bet his dacks that Port wouldn't win. There's reason 4,379 to want Geelong to win.

Exactly. His one-sided, roo-biased bullshit call on Saturday was a disgrace.

I've always hated Robert Walls. He's the worst commentator between all channels.

I hope he does have his arrse on the line. The footy world would be a better place without his rubbish. I can;t believe he coached a premiership. He's an idiot.

He is one of the reasons I as a Crows supporter will be barracking for the Power this weekend, and one of the reasons why I say the AFL is not yet a true club competion, but still riddled with state rivalry, and old VFL parochialism.

I got the Advertiser today and found I could only read about Port.

I got the Age and the Herald Sun also today and could read bout both Port and Geelong. Even had a VFL picture on the front page of the Herald Sun, I hope the Advertiser does the same after our Grand Final in the SANFL.

The state bias carp only goes so far, its not half as bad with the Victorians and you can always read about 16 clubs in their paper or hear about 16 clubs on their radio unlike here.
Both states are parochial but a hell of a lot of South Australians have a chip on their shoulder that the Victorians don't.

Robert Walls is a certified sit on the fencer compared to some of the morons over here like Rucci.
I won't even bring up 5AA.
