Anyone have a spare GF ticket? I know this is highly unlikely... but a bloke has to try.

Email me - dbeaty@adam.com.au or PM me if you do.

Cheers!

Also Looking for a ticket as well.
Had one Booked with the PAFC with their Seat and Breakfast show package for $595 until the AFL stepped in Friday and Unauthorized it so now left up shit creek along with all the others that were venting their frustrations with KG and Cornsey on Fridays evening Sport show.

LOL. I'm going to an '80's' party in Brisbane (I didn't even know they had ended). I'll be turning up in my Geelong gear and everyone will be thinking I got the theme wrong. I've already asked the dude whose birthday it is if he's got a good TV LOL. Luckily he does follow 'AFL' (that's what they call Football up here. You can't get them to understand that 'AFL' is the name of a league, and not the code no matter how hard you try) so I'll be taking in the game.

Would love to be there but for me Grand Final day has only meant pain. It's a lot of do re mi and a lot of messing about if Geelong think it's a '90's' theme party this weekend. If we win I'm going to party like it's 1999 (had to get one 80's song reference in there).

regards,

REB

The party in 1999 ended on the wrong note for me :( .
Just wear your stonewash jeans with the Catters jumper...stripes where big in the 80's...

What a rip Stonewash Jeans were. Weakened by bleach to achieve that look..planned obselence comes to fashion ha ha. Have you noticed that the price of jeans these days isn't that much different from the price of jeans 20 years ago?

Exactly right, personally I can't afford to fork out $1000 a year for 10 years in the chance of getting a GF ticket especially considering I always manage to get one for about $100 or free when I want to go.
To tell the truth I love the Cats but if I have a spare cent its going to North Adelaide as it has done forever.
If I lived in Melbourne and might get some value out of a ticket by going to the games it would be a different kettle of fish perhaps.

Fair enough, its a personal choice of course, most clubs have memberships for those outside Melbourne which are much cheaper....e.g.the Roos have an "Aussies Roos" membership for $150- you get 4 games a year and gteed GF ticket

Yeah, there's a country membership for the bigger club's like Geelong but you can only get a definate GF ticket if you buy the full season pass plus platinum membership.
It's a bit different for the smaller clubs like the Kangaroos.
One of the benefits you get for following a minnow club Dutchy.
