The Advertiser - what a grand paper...

Postby Dutchy » Thu Sep 20, 2007 11:11 am

When last Saturday they put the old Kangaroos emblem in the match preview I thought Id let them go as it might have been a once off mistake yet EVERY day in the paper they continue to use the old emblem...FFS -

I'm not sure many care, but if you prefer the cartoon picture of "Skippy" or the striped sky over a couple of hills to the one that looks like a club badge I think The Advertiser should upgrade to please you!

I wish Fairfax would start a newspaper in SA to rival News Ltd.

Then we wouldn't have to put up with crap journalism like this - I blame Rucci.

Probably the best you can hope for is for Fairfax to start an online paper like they have for Brisbane.
Seeing as it wasn't feasible for them to have a printed rival to News' Courier Mail up here, then it certainly wouldn't be the case for Adelaide.

This is an unfair comment by Dutchy. The Times itself couldn't possibly be expected to keep up with all of the changes made by the Kangaroos as they desperately attempt to capture someone's, anyone's attention nyuck nyuck.

You blokes do yourselves a disservice by reading it. Gave up reading the 'tiser years ago and have not missed it one bit.

Serious question - some of you have griped about other parts of that paper in the past - why persist?
