You could really go there with either adelaide team. In the last 2 years the crows have earned it as much as the power did in 02 and 03. So really its one of those pot kettle black situations.

Mark Williams - "Giving youth a chance - how it can lead to success"
this is a bit of a joke,
I can recall this being a forced decision not a deliberate strategy, I can recall Chocko continuing with the likes of an under performing Francou and an unfit wanga's and primus while the youth were playing in the sanfl
and it was not until Francou, Wanga's and Primus finally fell over the youth got an opportunity
so lets not kid ourselves that it was a brave move
Chocko played some senior players until he was force to play them no more, ths then triggered the opportunity for the youth

Lets not forget either how important the Cornes bros, Burgoyne bros, Lade, Wakelin, Wilson, Cassisi and Brogan have been this year - terrific years from all and all members (+ Tredders) of the 2004 premiership side.

lets not forget, port have had the highest number of players than any other club, playing all 22 minor round matches, funny enough, most of these players are their midfield types
