Western Australian Class

Just watching the way the West Aussies have embraced the retirements of Sheedy and Hird it is just outstanding. The West Coast Eagles and everyone at the ground should be absolutely proud of themselves. Well done.

It was, fantastic to see. =D> Any footy fan should have felt touched (no * jokes here) by the send off Sheedy and Hird were given. Although the timing of playing "Eagle Rock" was off.

I was @ Subiaco lasy year for Rohan Smith's last game, and was pleasantly surprised at the large ovation he received.
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.

Didn't see it, anyone record it (You tube ??). Would be good to see as I liked Sheed and Hirdy (only 2 at Essendon is enough! :D )

Both occasions were an excellent example of sportsmanship and what footy is all about as compared to the other crap going on at the moment.

Didn't Freo go out of their way to make sure Fitzroy got a decent send off in their last game as well after no help or advice from the AFL? Good work by the West Aussies. Hird and Sheedy certainly deserved it.

Spot on.
