Spelly, do you have a list of Adelaide's scorers for the year including points

Point taken Hondo, might seem lazy but getting trough the AFL website on dial up is like watching Collingwood get the ball out of defence.
Strangley enough apart fron Welsh 45,20; Adelaide's better scorers are-
McGregor 14,2; Burton 24, 16; Bock 29,19; Perrie 17,9; Stevens 15,3; Maric 5,1.
Worst offenders are -
Thompson 16,15; Knights 4,11; Goody 10,8; Van Berlo 6,11; Porplyzia 13,10; Reilly 7,5; Gill 8,9; Vince 1,4; Jericho 4,8; Edwards 6,8.
I think the biggest surprise out of that is Stevens' 15 goals 3

Yeah, McGregor's (14-2) and Stevens' (15-3) accuracy was interesting compared to the others. Stevens especially, as you say, because he mostly played in defence

Porplyzia needs to improve on 13-10 next season - that's not making the most of his talent

Kicking straighter this season like we did last night might have snagged us 2 more wins and we'd be in the top 4

PS I understand, dial-up would be a pain on the AFL website

Stevens: if we have the back line better covered I'd like to see him as a forward pocket of HFF next year. I think experience in the back line has improved his skills as a forward.

The AFL website is a pain on 1.5Mbps ADSL - it would be hopeless on dial-up. Mind you next year Telstra may have been able to rig in so it only works at all on Telstra broadband!!!!

Well that will be as good as their TV deal this year. BRINGING AFL TO THE MASSES. I'D LIKE TO SEE THAT! WANKERS!
Seriously Demitriou is not doing anything positive for this league, except if the only criteria is $$$$$$$$
I think there is something to be said for the Crows and their drafting and development of players. Compare them to St Kilda since 1997, 1998, Adelaide haven't tanked on the bottom for draft picks trying to build a premiership side, they've nearly always been around the mark whilst not doing a Richmond in finishing 9th every year. They haven't got a top ten draft pick right ever I don't think and they've been unlucky along the way, and while they don't have rising star nominees flowing from their arses, I think they've been pretty workmanlike in their descisions. They've pinpointed Stevens from a final Sydney played against Port and got him, and in hindsight after a rocky start he's a bargain. Torney is a great pickup and I reckon could be used as a surprise forward in a final, a la Shane Ellen in 1997. He's got a great mark and a good kick for goal. Massie and Thompson have also been good pick ups that, I think, haven't been expensive draft wise.
I think the dissapointing area of the Crows kicking for goal is that players like Edwards, Porper,Goody are all normally dead eye dicks but are missing as with a few other players this year. On the negative Knights' 4,11 is something to be worked on.
