He nearly joined Port about 3 years ago. I think from memory, Carlton wanted a first round pick for him at that time.

What will the compo pick be? 3rd round?


Was a first round pick, what a waste.


edit. Just looked at the 04 draft and he was a decent pick considering the amount of spuds picked after pick 9. Which was basically everyone except for LeCras and the F/S'.

Pretty sure there will be a press conference this week to announce the new coach. Tuesday or Wednesday would be my guess.

On another note if the cloke acquisition doesn't happen look for a play made for Caddy. Need an inside mid of his calibre at the club.

Press conference tomorrow @ 10am to announce Mick Malthouse as the new Carlton coach surprise surprise. Apparently won't officially start till late October which is strange as trade period finishes then. Surely he will be an integral part of the trading period
