Was at the game last night, was alright to watch. As I dont support either side it was interesting to be there. It was good to see a tough hard game at AFL level, of course the conditions dictated this but still it was good to see none the less. I must still say its always interesting going to AAMI stadium as a neutral supporter, I thought the crows were the better team all night, more desperate, and so they should be season on the line. I thought it was a good night of footy overall. Negatives, the rules.....Burtons mark, well thats what you come to the game for, see some action, if the AFL wants it out of the game then so be it.

No need to get personal Booney, just discussing a game of footy, can only comment on what I observe, seen Port twice now, last night and against Geelong earlier this year, we could discuss that game instead if you want?
Crikey, touchy touchy! :?

Chad Cornes is an overrated A grade tosspot who gets most of his touches not playing on anyone.
Kane has my respect though. He conducts himself a lot differently to his brother.

Twas a good day, Cats won easily, Roosters won easily, daughter's netball team won easily, son's football team won easily, Power lost easily. My Raiders lost though, can't be perfect.

But it is ok for you to 'get personal' on someone who is no chance of replying/defending himself?

If I got personal,it was only an observation I made.

Yes definately, its a footy forum mate, players are going to get paid out all the time.
Strange you should pick out this incident and get personal and yet have no issue with umpteen insults to other players over the years here mate. Bit grumpy re last night's game mate?
Take it out on your coaching staff not me, sheesh! :?
Geezus these Port supporters are sore losers, I was never as bad when Geelong were crap and Port were a good side.
Perhaps Im more used to it?

I think yoru criticism of Chad Cornes was over the top,and has only come along when he has a had a bad game,of which he has had very few this year.

I know players will get paid out if they play poorly, and I have just as much right to defend him,as you do criticise him.

Finally,of course Im grumpy about last nights game, and yes,if the coaching staff was on here instead of you,I have a crack at them.

As I alluded to before, hes going to cop it more than most because of the way he conducts himself, similar to the way others such as Jarman cops more criticism because of the way they conducts themselves.
If Chad went about his job in a manner that was respected by people and didn't carry on like a tosspot like he does in every game I've seen him he wouldn't cop it, pure and simple.
The kid has talant, there's no doubting that but he comes across as a wanker, pure and simple.
Mind you, he hasn't got much chance with his bloodline!

None of the Cornes family have ever liked close attention on the field. Nevertheless, I think Chad would get a spot in the Crows team, and probably any of the others.

When he plays on someone decent, he is shown up.

Looks good against the trash teams with no opponent.

van Berlo killed him.

Strange game AFL. You can't take a "screamer" with minimal interference on the way up, but you can go around elbowing your tagger in the guts all night long. MMMmmm.

Psyber, I disagree with that comment.
I saw alot of Graham's games. Graham copped close attention most weeks and usually came out on top. He was bloody tough for a skinny stringbean of a bloke.
Kane actually tags blokes, so there has to be some sort of close attention there.

Anyway,
Earlier saturday I was at the shops and overheard three of four loud Power fans banging on like theyd already won the match! And how they were planning to shove it up those crows supporters.
The cockyness amoungst the morons that port attract hasnt dwindled over the years, has it.
Yeah, Naah,..... Bollocks!

LOL Booney. Chad is a tosser: the Little Lleyton of football. If he had another jumper on you would be able to see this. The way he cries his eyes out whenever a free goes against him, the way he doesn't shake hands after a game. Good player but imposisble to respect.
